Alerts & Notifications
Common reasons for missing alerts:
- Discord DMs are closed or you blocked the bot
- No tokens allocated to any region
- Filter settings are too restrictive
- Region has poor health/coverage
- Subscription expired or payment failed
See our Token & Region Issues guide for detailed troubleshooting steps.
Alert delays can be caused by several factors: region health issues, Discord API rate limits during high-traffic periods, or network latency. Most alerts arrive within 5-15 seconds. Check your region's health status on the Coverage Map.
No, we only send alerts for active spawns. Each alert includes the remaining despawn time so you know how long you have to reach it. Pokemon typically spawn for 30-60 minutes, but some lured spawns are shorter.
Coordinates are highly accurate, typically within a few meters of the actual spawn point. The location link in each alert will take you directly to the spawn location in your preferred maps app.
This can happen with newly released Pokemon before our system is updated with the new game data. It's rare and typically resolved within hours of a new Pokemon release. The IVs and coordinates are still accurate.
Filters & Settings
Go to your DM Alert settings and set the minimum IV to 100%. You can also enable "Hundos only" mode which is a quick toggle for 100% IV filtering across all Pokemon. This will dramatically reduce alert volume but you'll only see perfect Pokemon.
IV percentage is the total of Attack + Defense + Stamina divided by the maximum (45), expressed as a percentage. 15/15/15 = 100%.
PVP rank compares stat product efficiency for capped leagues. Lower Attack with higher Defense/Stamina often ranks better for Great/Ultra League. See our PVP Hunting Guide for details.
Currently, filters apply globally across all regions. This means a 100% IV filter will apply to all your active regions. We're considering per-region filter profiles for future updates.
Filter settings save automatically when you make changes. There's no manual save button needed. Changes take effect immediately for new alerts. If you want to revert, you'll need to manually change the settings back.
Coverage & Regions
Region health indicates how well-funded a region is compared to its operating costs. Health is calculated as a percentage based on token revenue vs. required costs:
- Healthy (100%+) - Fully funded with optimal coverage
- Degraded (85-99%) - Working but fragile with some gaps
- Critical (70-84%) - Actively subsidized, reduced quality
- Inactive (<70%) - Minimal coverage, needs support
Check the Token Allocation page to view region health status.
Coverage depends on data availability in each area. Rural or less populated areas may have limited or no coverage. We're constantly working to expand coverage, but some areas may not be viable due to data source limitations.
Yes! We welcome coverage requests from our community. You can request new regions or expansion of existing coverage through our formal request process. We evaluate requests based on community demand, data availability, and operational feasibility.
See our Coverage Request Guide for the full process and what information to include in your request.
Spawn density varies based on real-world factors like cell phone activity, parks, and points of interest. Urban areas typically have higher spawn density than rural areas. This is determined by the game, not our service.
Performance & Reliability
We maintain high availability with typical uptime exceeding 99%. Planned maintenance is announced in advance via Discord. Unplanned outages are rare and we work quickly to resolve any issues. Status updates are posted in our Discord during any incidents.
No, the website requires an internet connection. However, once you receive an alert via Discord, you can view it offline. The map features and settings pages require an active connection.
During major events like Community Day or GO Fest, spawn volume increases dramatically. We scale our infrastructure to handle the load, but you may want to tighten your filters to avoid being overwhelmed with alerts. Consider setting higher IV thresholds during events.
Currently, we don't offer a public API for third-party integrations. Alerts are delivered via Discord DMs and webhooks. If you have specific integration needs, reach out on our Discord to discuss possibilities.
