1 What Are Webhooks?
Webhooks allow you to send Pokemon Go alerts directly to channels in your own Discord server. Unlike DM alerts (personal), webhook alerts are visible to everyone in your community.

Webhook functionality requires the Community Add-On subscription. This includes five webhook channels, with more available at $10/month each.

Before configuring alerts in PoGO Alerts Network, you'll need to create webhooks in your Discord server.
Open Server Settings
In Discord, right-click on your server name and select "Server Settings" (requires Manage Webhooks permission).
Navigate to Integrations
In the left sidebar, click on "Integrations", then click "Create Webhook" or "View Webhooks".
Create New Webhook
Click "New Webhook" and configure the following:
- Name: Give it a descriptive name (e.g., "PoGO Alerts Network Pokemon")
- Channel: Select the target channel for alerts
- Avatar: Optionally upload a custom icon
Copy Webhook URL
Click "Copy Webhook URL" - this is the unique URL you'll paste into PoGO Alerts Network. Keep this URL private!

With the URL copied, add it on the Community page. You need the Community Add-On active on your subscription first.
Open Community
Go to Community in the sidebar, or use Manage Webhooks & Slots on your Subscriptions page.
Add Webhook
Paste the URL, give the webhook a name you will recognize later, and add a description if you want a reminder of what the channel is for. Check asks Discord whether the webhook is live before you save it.
Wait for review
New webhooks are added as Pending and reviewed before they go live. The badge on the webhook card shows where yours is up to, and a rejected webhook carries the reason.
Slots
The Community Add-On includes five webhooks. Beyond that you buy a slot before adding the webhook that uses it. Deleting a webhook frees its slot for another one; removing the slot itself is a separate step on the same page, and credits you for the unused part of the month.
4 Choosing what gets posted
PoGO Alerts Network holds the subscription, the slots and the webhook itself. What actually gets posted, and which Pokemon, raids or quests qualify, is set up separately in your alert settings, the same place DM alert filters live.
Two different places
Adding a webhook here tells us where to post. Filters, alert types and message format are configured in alert settings, per channel, once the webhook is approved. Ask in Discord if you are not sure which side a setting lives on.
One webhook posts to exactly one Discord channel. Splitting alerts across channels means a webhook per channel, which is what the extra slots are for. A common shape is one channel for perfect-IV spawns, one for raids, and one general channel with looser filters.
5 Testing a webhook
The tick button on a webhook card posts a test message straight to its Discord channel. It proves three things at once: the URL is right, the webhook still exists, and Discord will accept messages in that channel.

Everything on our side is set up. What happens next depends on your alert filters.
Discord does not recognize the webhook
It was deleted in Discord, or the URL is incomplete. Copy it again from Discord and replace the URL on the webhook.
Discord is rate limiting the channel
Wait a minute and test again. Slow mode on the channel can cause this too.
6 Troubleshooting
The URL is rejected when I try to add it
- Use the Copy Webhook URL button in Discord rather than retyping it
- A complete URL looks like

My webhook still says Pending
- New webhooks are reviewed before they go live
- The badge changes to Approved once that is done
- If it has been sitting there, ask in Discord
The test message arrives but no alerts do
- The webhook is fine; the filters decide the rest
- Check your alert settings for that channel
- Check the channel's filters cover the region you are watching
- A quiet region genuinely produces very few alerts
Add Webhook is grayed out
- Every slot is in use
- Delete a webhook to free one, or buy an extra slot
- The Community page shows which slots are taken
Messages are going to the wrong channel
- A webhook URL is tied to the channel it was created in
- Moving alerts to a different channel means a new webhook from that channel
- Editing a webhook lets you replace its URL in place
7 Keeping webhook URLs safe
Treat the URL as a password
Anyone holding it can post to your channel as your webhook. Never paste one in public.
If one leaks, replace it
Delete the webhook in Discord, create a fresh one in the same channel, and edit the webhook here to use the new URL. The old URL stops working immediately.
Name webhooks for their channel
"Raids north" beats "Webhook 2" when you are looking at five of them, both in Discord settings and here.
Record who helps you run it
The Admins tab on the Community page is where you note the Discord accounts helping manage your alerts. It is a record for your reference, not an access grant.
