3 How to Subscribe

Setting up the Community Add-On for your Discord server is straightforward.

Step 1

Have an Active Base Plan

You need a Basic or Premium subscription first. The Community Add-On is an add-on to your personal subscription.

Step 2

Add Bot to Your Server

Make sure the PoGoAlerts bot is already added to your Discord server. You'll need server admin permissions to manage the bot.

Step 3

Subscribe to Add-On

Go to your Subscriptions page and look for the "Community Add-On" section. Click "Subscribe" and complete checkout.

Step 4

Configure Your Channels

Visit your Subscriptions page to select which 5 channels in your server should receive alerts and what types of alerts each channel gets.

Billing Note: The Community Add-On cost is added to your base subscription plan in a single monthly charge. Both renew together on your billing date each month.

4 Configuring Your Alert Channels

Once your Community Add-On subscription is active, configure which channels receive which types of alerts.

Step 1

Choose Your 5 Channels

In your Subscriptions page, select up to 5 channels from your server. These can be any text channels where the bot has permission to post.

Step 2

Customize Alert Types

For each channel, choose what types of alerts it receives: rare spawns, perfect IVs, raids, raid eggs, or specific Pokémon. Each channel can have different filters.

Step 3

Test Your Setup

Send a test alert to verify your channels are configured correctly and members can see the notifications.

Pro Tip: Organize your channels by alert type (e.g., #rare-spawns, #hundos, #raids, #raid-eggs, #legendary-raids) to keep your server well-organized and help members find relevant alerts quickly.

5 Adding More Channels

Need more than 5 channels? You can add additional channels to your Community Add-On subscription.

📈 Scale as You Grow

Start with 5 channels and add more as your community grows. Each additional channel costs $10/month.

🎯 Specialized Alerts

Create dedicated channels for specific Pokémon, events, or regions. Separate hundos, shinies, legendaries, and more.

🌍 Multi-Region Coverage

If your community covers multiple cities or regions, dedicate channels to each geographic area.

⚡ Event Channels

Add temporary channels during special events like Community Days, Raid Hours, or limited-time research.

How to Add Channels: Visit your Subscriptions page and look for "Add Extra Channels" under your Community Add-On. Each additional channel is $10/month and can be added or removed at any time.
