1 Filter Overview
Pokemon filtering lets you control exactly which Pokemon trigger alerts. Rather than being flooded with notifications for every spawn, you can target specific species, IV ranges, forms, and more.
Species Filter
Choose specific Pokemon to track
IV Filter
Set minimum IV thresholds
Form Filter
Target regional variants and forms
Shiny Filter
Hunt for shiny-eligible spawns
2 Species Filtering
Species filtering is the foundation of your alert setup. You can create lists of Pokemon you want to track, or use preset categories.
Selection Methods
Preset Categories
Use built-in categories to quickly select groups of Pokemon:
Manual Selection
Build your own list by searching and selecting individual Pokemon:
Create separate filter profiles for different hunting goals - one for hundos, one for PVP, one for shinies.
3 IV Filtering
IV (Individual Values) determine a Pokemon's potential. Filter by total IV percentage or individual Attack, Defense, and Stamina stats.
Common IV Thresholds
Weather-boosted Pokemon have a minimum IV floor of 4/4/4. If hunting for nundos, filter for non-boosted weather.
4 Form Filtering
Many Pokemon have multiple forms with different appearances, typings, or stats. Form filtering lets you target specific variants.
Regional Forms
Costume & Event Forms
Visual Variants
5 Shiny Hunting
While we can't detect if a specific spawn is shiny (that's determined when you encounter it), we can help you find shiny-eligible Pokemon more efficiently.
Shiny-Eligible Filter
Enable this filter to only receive alerts for Pokemon that have their shiny form released in the game. No more alerts for Pokemon that can't be shiny!
Shiny Hunting Strategies
Volume Hunting
Target common shiny-eligible species. More encounters = more chances. Filter for Pokemon like Magikarp, Swablu, or event-boosted spawns.
Rare Shiny Hunting
Focus on rare spawns that are shiny-eligible. Lower volume but more exciting finds like Gible, Axew, or Noibat.
New Release Hunting
Prioritize newly-released shinies during events. The community excitement adds to the hunt!
Shiny status is determined at encounter, not spawn. Two players can encounter the same Pokemon and get different results.
6 Combining Filters
The real power comes from combining multiple filter types. Create precise targeting for your specific hunting goals.
Catch every perfect Pokemon in your region. The ultimate collector goal.
Build a powerful raid team with high-IV meta Pokemon.
Collect regional variant forms for your Pokedex.
The holy grail - find hundos that could be shiny when you click.
