5 Switching Payment Providers
You can switch between Stripe and PayPal at any time. Here's how the process works:
Go to Subscriptions
Navigate to the Subscriptions page from your dashboard or the main navigation.
Find Payment Provider Option
Look for the "Switch to Stripe" or "Switch to PayPal" button in your subscription details section.
Complete New Checkout
You'll be redirected to complete checkout with the new payment provider. Your existing subscription will be canceled and replaced with the new one.
Credits Applied Automatically
Any remaining credit from your old subscription is applied to the new one. You won't be double-charged for the same period.
6 Troubleshooting Payment Issues
My card was declined
Card declines can happen for several reasons: insufficient funds, expired card, incorrect details, or bank security blocks. Try these steps:
- Verify your card details are entered correctly
- Check that your card hasn't expired
- Ensure you have sufficient funds/credit
- Contact your bank to authorize the transaction
- Try a different card or switch to PayPal
I was charged twice
This is rare but can happen during payment processing issues. Check your payment history - if you see duplicate charges, contact our support team with your transaction details and we'll issue a refund for the duplicate.
My PayPal payment failed
PayPal failures typically occur when your PayPal account has issues. Check that:
- Your PayPal account is in good standing
- You have a valid funding source (balance or linked account)
- You don't have pending holds or limitations on your account
I can't update my payment method
If you're using PayPal, you'll need to switch to Stripe to update payment methods in-app. Alternatively, you can manage your PayPal subscription directly through PayPal's website.
My subscription shows as canceled but I was charged
Cancellations take effect at the end of your billing period. If you canceled mid-cycle, you've already paid for that period and retain access until it ends. No additional charges occur after cancellation.
