1 What is the Shiny add-on?
The Shiny add-on shows you which wild Pokémon will be shiny specifically for your trainer account, on the map and in your DMs.
Accurate, not complete
Every shiny we flag is real. Some event-boosted shinies may not be flagged yet.
One trainer, locked in
One trainer per add-on, confirmed once. A support request can change it, at most once every 30 days.
Works everywhere we scan
DMs follow your existing alert areas; the map is free to browse.
+2 tokens a month
A loyalty bonus matching Premium's token count - not the pitch. The add-on is sold on shiny predictions, not scan coverage.
2 Is this right for you?
The Shiny add-on has a few requirements, since it links one trainer account to your subscription.
Trainer level 30+
Checked from your trainer profile when you link. Below level 30, wild encounters are capped to your level, so a prediction wouldn't be reliable yet.
Active Basic or Premium plan
Available on both base plans. The link stops working if your plan or the add-on lapses, but stays on file - resubscribing needs no relink.
Your own account only
The friend code you link must be your own trainer account. Support can swap it to a replacement account, at most once every 30 days.
Launch price: the first 20 buyers keep $24.95/month for as long as they keep the add-on, even after it sells out for new buyers.
After launch, the regular price is $39.95/month ($399.50/year).
3 How to subscribe and link your trainer
Setting up the Shiny add-on takes two steps: subscribing, then linking the trainer account you want predictions for.
Have an active Basic or Premium plan
You need Basic or Premium before adding Shiny - it's an add-on, not a standalone plan.
Add the Shiny add-on
Go to your Subscriptions page and look for the Shiny add-on.
Enter your friend code
On your account page's Pokémon GO tab, enter your 12-digit friend code.
Verify and confirm
We'll show your trainer name, team and level so you can check it's you, then hold to confirm for two seconds. This locks the link - you can't change it yourself afterward.
4 What you'll see
Once you're linked, your shiny predictions show up everywhere we scan - no extra setup.
On the map
A gold sparkle badge marks any wild Pokémon that's shiny for you. The Pokémon menu's My shinies setting controls how they stand out: Highlight (default), Only my shinies, or Off. Your shinies always show, whatever your species or IV filters say.
In your DMs
Shiny predictions follow your existing DM alert areas and filters - no separate setup. A flagged spawn carries a shiny tag in the alert.
5 Managing your link and subscription
Cancel Anytime
Cancel anytime; the trainer link stays on file so resubscribing needs no relink.
Changing your trainer
If your account is banned or replaced, contact support - this can be done at most once every 30 days.
View Billing History
Access detailed invoices and payment history in your Billing section.
6 Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Shiny add-on guarantee shinies?
It flags real predictions only. Every shiny we show is real, though some event-boosted shiny rates may not be reflected yet - so it's accurate, not exhaustive.
Can I change which trainer is linked?
Not yourself - the link locks once confirmed, to stop one subscription covering many accounts. Contact support to change it, at most once every 30 days.
What happens if I cancel the Shiny add-on?
Your trainer link stays on file, but predictions stop until you resubscribe. No relink is needed when you come back.
Is there a free trial?
No - the add-on is charged from day one, like the Community add-on.
Do I keep the launch price forever?
Yes, for as long as you keep the add-on active without canceling. The lock covers staying subscribed, not rejoining after a cancellation.
